Great success at Aberdeen’s Your Wedding Exhibition

Posted by LadyCristobel on January 17, 2011

We had a wonderful time reading tarot and chatting to ladies planning their weddings at Aberdeen’s excellent Your Wedding Exhibition. Lady Cristobel as a medieval tarot reader was a colourful addition to this modern-day exhibition, where more than 3000 visitors passed through the doors at Aberdeen’s Exhibition and Conference Centre over two exciting and action-packed days.

Lots of people stopped by and experimented with a one-card reading as a sample of Lady Cristobel’s tarot skills, and a number of ladies then asked for tarot parties to be arranged with their friends.

We are going to be busy over the coming months meeting all these interesting ladies again and spending an evening reading tarot.

And we are very excited about working with a group of wedding guests in Aberdeen in July!

Thanks to all those who made the exhibition such an enjoyable one, and we wish all the businesses great success for 2011, especially Rosalyn from Let Them Eat Cake, Gibby the Piper and Lisa from RTS Designs.

Over £3000 raised for children’s hospital!!!

Posted by LadyCristobel on November 23, 2010

more than £1000 was raised for aberdeen children's hospital

All expectations were exceeded at last Friday’s superbly organised charity event in Aberdeen – it  raised a large sum for the children’s hospital, and Lady Cristobel was busy all evening reading the tarot for a number of ladies.

We are pleased to have made a contribution to your charity effort, Karen, and we wish little Kayla and all her family every happiness.

Karen tells me that she’s really pleased with the huge amount of money raised by the event, and says it will be used for the benefit of all the children who live in Aberdeen and Grampian.

‘I would like to thank everyone who took part, and we want you to know all the money is going to Aberdeen children’s hospital, where Kayla has spent so much time recently’, she said.

A rainy tarot day

Posted by LadyCristobel on August 24, 2010

Tarot cards and wooden boxSunday saw Lady Cristobel meeting a number of tarot clients at Castle Fraser in Aberdeenshire.

Despite the rain it was a very success medieval day with a number of interesting and illuminating tarot readings.

I am always surprised how some of the tarot cards are determined to be visible to a client and jump out from the pack while the client is shuffling the deck. We have some fascinating ‘jumpers’ on Sunday and several clients asked for clarification of their future plans.

Many thanks to all who gave such positive feedback and to The National Trust for Scotland for inviting us to participate in their medieval day.
